iJ.tibuRu.4 is your second layer outer shell garment, engineered to function perfectly within your ALS (Assos Layering System). Use it in cooler riding conditions when you want a heavy longsleeve jersey. The tibuRu operates best when used in combination with the next-to-skin ASSOS interactive body insulator underneath.

Because 100% waterproof also means 100% impermeable, and this would be catastrophic if you happen to be in the bike race of your life, in the lead, with two hours still to go. Why? Assos LL.Fugu Winter Tights

The LL.fugu comprises twenty panels, nine different fabrics and fifteen other components.
LL.fugu is made out of RX/plus fabric, an improved version of the RX fabrics. It has the same wonderfully soft feel of the RX but it has been made even warmer and stronger. The brand new Stratagon fabric — developed by ASSOS and not available commercially — is used in specific areas to protect the most exposed body parts from wind and cold.
A special feature of the LL.fugu is its unique suspender structure. It's cut is like a tank top with a collar, which — thanks to the legendary RXQ fabric — gives your chest area optimal protection from the cold. These tights also have a seamless and particularly light footbridge, so you will barely know it's there.

Assos Clima-range 6 The LL.716 is built to perform in mid Winter conditions from 0°C to 8°C . Engineering The LL.716 tight is based on the same technical specification as the LL.607 but incorporates the brand new Stratogon Light family of air block textiles, strategically placed where your body needs wind protection in order to maintain a stable temperature.
Like the LL.607, the LL.716 is constructed on the same pattern frame as the T.607 meaning it is still a high performance cycling short adapted to excel in winter conditions. Construction The LL.716 is built out of 12 panels using 5 different textiles and 29 components, all carefully engineered, defined and applied. The main textile used is a heavier version of the legendary RX microfibre, fleece type insulator fabric with a brushed inner surface.
The main difference between the LL.716 and the LL.607 is the strategic use of Stratagon ultra windblock fabric, this is featured on the upper thigh, knee and groin. Not only are the fabrics redefined, Assos redefined a new 4 panel cut, perfectly calibrated to the fabrics used.
In addition, an extra layer of base layer fabric is included on the thigh side panel to provide extra warmth as a short will not be worn underneath. RX/Plus A new and heavier development of the former RX roubaix fabric. It offer increased insulation and abrasion resistance but still maintains the legendary next-to-skin silk touch comfort feeling.
