Giro Factor HV ACC Road Shoe

Giro's Factor ACC shoes combine a lightweight Evofiber synthetic upper that comfortably wraps the foot with a class-leading Easton EC90 unidirectional carbon outsole for maximum stiffness and power transfer. A combination of two offset Velcro straps and one ratcheting MR-1 buckle at the top provide a secure fit and the ability to quickly make micro-adjustments on the fly. If you find yourself needing to change your shoe's fit mid-ride, this is something that shoes with laces just can't do.

The sole of the Giro Factor ACC is so thin that the shoes have a stack height of just 6.5 millimeters  – among the lowest of any shoe out there. That means there's less distance between you and the pedals, creating a more efficient interface. The sole is designed to mate with any pedal system that uses a standard three-hole road cleat.

The Evofiber material used in the upper is breathable, and additional perforations make it even easier to keep your tootsies comfortable, but there's enough material present such that your feet don't get immediately soaked should the weather turn. The Evofiber is also durable and very easy to wipe clean post-ride: these kicks will keep on looking great for miles to come. And the heel pads are replaceable, should they wear out: these puppies are built to last.
