Park Tool BBT-9 Bottom Bracket Tool

Bicycle bottom brackets occasionally require removal for service, replacement, or upgrading.

The Park Tool BBT-9 Bottom Bracket Tool is used to remove and install select threaded bottom brackets with 16-notch tool fittings, including Shimano®, SRAM® GXP, Chris King®, Campagnolo®, and many others. This tool fitting is also found on some disc brake rotor lockrings.

Additionally, the BBT-9 includes a tool that removes and installation of 8-point Shimano Hollowtech II crank arm adjusting caps. The long, plated-steel handle offers good leverage for high-torque applications and is vinyl-dipped for comfort.

• Shimano BB80, BB5700, XT BB70, BB51, and previous external bearing threaded cups
• Threaded bottom bracket cups from Campagnolo, Chris King, FSA MegaExo, Hope, SRAM/Truvativ GXP, Race Face X-type, Surly, Wheels, Fulcrum, and others
• 16-notch disc brake rotor lockrings
• 16-notch Bafang® BBSH, BBS02 mid-drive motor lockrings

Fits 8-point tool fittings on Shimano® Hollowtech II® crank arm caps:
