For colder conditions encountered in late fall and early spring, the Assos Spring Fall LS Skin Layer delivers with full-arm coverage, seamless comfort, and a new medium-weight yarn blend.

Light insulation and full-arm coverage are just the ticket during those cold fall and spring conditions, where it’s crucial our upper body gets an added boost against the elements. This is where the Spring/Fall LS Skin Layer jumps in, fine-tuned to give you that extra body-insulating comfort when the temperature drops.

For those familiar with our iconic Skinfoil base layers, Skin Layer has taken the torch with a completely revamped design and all-new blend of fibers. To start, it’s about 8% lighter than before and uses a Circular Seamless construction, free of irritating side seams. This creates a smooth tubular knit that’s ultrasoft against the skin. A cool-weather-tuned blend of carbon and polypropylene yarns are now used, which effectively pulls moisture away from your skin and insulates your core. We also bumped up the neck height by 3cm from the short-sleeve version—just one of many small details we’d like to call out that shows the level of detail we take to tune our base layers to specific conditions.

How does shipping work?

Canada Post (Priority or Express): delivery in 7–14 business days, with tracking in your shipping confirmation.

UPS: usually 2–7 business days (customs can stretch it to 15), fully tracked.

Cost depends on the size and weight of the package.

Is shipping free?

Most orders over $150 in Canada ship free.

Bikes, frames, wheelsets, indoor trainers and other bulky items don't. One of our team will contact you with shipping options for those.

A few items, like Favero Assioma pedals and Nimbl × Nike shoes, always have a shipping charge.

When will my order ship?

Please allow 1–2 business days to pack and ship most orders. Bikes, wheels and trainers can take 5–7 business days to prepare. Busy periods can add a little time.

Can I return it?

You have 30 days from the date of purchase. After 30 days, purchases are final sale. Special orders may have a restocking fee.

Bring proof of purchase. Items must be unused and in the original packaging.

Please don't send your purchase back to the manufacturer. Some situations may only qualify for a partial refund.

How do I send a return?

Mail your item(s) to 151 Robinson Street, Oakville, Ontario L6J 7N3.

Return shipping is on you, and original shipping isn't refunded. For exchanges, shipping the new item is taken off your refund. For anything over $75, use tracked shipping or insurance.

Once we've received and checked your return, we'll email you. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, so allow up to 5 business days for them to show.

If you declined shipping protection, Racer Sportif isn't liable for packages lost, damaged or stolen after they leave the store.
