Colnago Y1RS Disc Dura Ace Di2 12 Speed Road Bike
- Description
BEFORE PRE-ORDERING A BIKE, PLEASE CALL ONE OF OUR STORES TO DETERMINE WHEN THE BIKE YOU ARE INTERESTED IN WILL BE AVAILABLE. THANKS.
Designed to defy the wind, the Colnago Y1Rs is the ultimate expression of aerodynamic efficiency. This bike is built to deliver optimal performance in the fastest races, combining advanced technologies and innovative design for sprinters and breakaway specialists.
With a design that drastically reduces air resistance, stiffness optimised for the most powerful sprints, and surprising comfort for long distances, the Y1Rs offers the perfect balance of performance, efficiency, and control.
Cutting-Edge Aerodynamics
The Y1Rs reduces its frontal area by 19% compared to the V4Rs, thanks to innovations like the CC.Y1 handlebars with WYND technology and the curved downtube. These elements reduce drag and optimise airflow in all wind conditions.
Stiff Where It Matters
The frame structure is designed to provide 3.5% greater stiffness than the previous model. This ensures immediate power transfer during the most intense sprints and unparalleled responsiveness.
CC.Y1 Handlebars with WYND Technology
The handlebars feature a "gull-wing" design that minimises airflow separation and improves stability at high speeds. All this without compromising stiffness, making it ideal for the most powerful riders. Sold separately.
DEFY Seatpost Joint
The dual Y-shaped joint improves aerodynamics in the seatpost area and enhances vibration absorption, increasing comfort without sacrificing stiffness. Perfect for long breakaways and endurance stages.
Wind Tunnel-Verified Results
Tests conducted in real-world configurations show that the Y1Rs requires 20 fewer watts than the V4Rs to maintain a speed of 50 km/h. A significant advantage in fast races and windy conditions.
Modern Compatibility and Integrated Design
The Y1Rs is compatible with the most advanced electronic groupsets and offers a fully integrated design, from custom bottle cages to the aerodynamic seatpost. Every detail has been optimized to reduce weight and enhance aesthetics.
