At an astonishing 1,050 grams for the set, the RS40SLR redefines what's possible in a 40mm depth wheel. Acceleration feels instantaneous, climbs feel shorter, and direction changes happen the moment you think them — this is a wheelset that gets out of the way entirely, leaving nothing between you and the effort.
The RS40SLR retains the ultra-high-modulus Torayca T1100G carbon rim and ceramic bearings of the SL, but takes performance further with Vonoa full carbon fiber aero bladed spokes, finished with titanium end fittings. Replacing traditional steel spokes with carbon dramatically reduces unsprung weight at the rim and hub, while significantly increasing torsional stiffness — meaning power transfer is more direct, handling is sharper, and the wheel responds to every input with less flex and less lag.
The RS40 SLR's 40mm rim profile was shaped and refined in a bicycle-specific wind tunnel, delivering a genuine aero advantage on flats and rolling terrain to complement its class-leading weight.
The hooked rim design features a modern 21mm internal width and 28mm external width, striking the ideal balance between wide tire support, aerodynamic efficiency, and compatibility with a broad range of tubeless and clincher tires.

Our refund and return policy is 30 days from the date of purchase. Beyond 30 days, all purchases are final sale. Special orders may be subject to a re-stocking fee

The customer will be responsible for the shipping costs of returned item(s). Original shipping costs are non-refundable. For exchanges, the cost of shipping the new item(s) will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should strongly consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee your returned item will be received.
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you on the status of your return/exchange via email. Once approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please allow up to 5 business days for the refund to appear.
If you do not see a refund after a few days, contact your card company or bank.

UPS: Typically delivers within 2-7 business days, although customs clearance may extend this to up to 15 days. This service provides full package traceability, and you will receive tracking information with your shipping confirmation. Costs vary depending on the package size and weight.
Large & Bulky Items
Free shipping does not apply to bicycles, bicycle frames, wheel sets, indoor trainers, and other bulky items. A Racer Sportif representative will contact you with competitive shipping options for these items.
Processing Times
Please allow 1-2 business for processing and packing orders. Large items, including bikes, wheels, and trainers, may take 5-7 business days to prepare for shipment. High order volumes may lead to delays.
