Real Speed RS55 SL Disc Wheelset

Built for riders chasing raw speed, the Real Speed RS55SL is our most refined aero wheelset — engineered to cut through the air and hold your pace with even less effort.

The RS55SL's taller 55mm rim profile was shaped and refined in a bicycle-specific wind tunnel, delivering a meaningful reduction in drag at race speeds. On flat roads, rolling terrain, and long steady efforts, that translates directly into free speed — less energy spent fighting the wind means more left in the tank for the finish.

That aero performance is paired with a rim built from Torayca T1100G carbon, an ultra-high-modulus fiber that trims weight and boosts stiffness beyond what standard carbon construction allows. The result is a set that comes in at just 1,350 grams — remarkably light for a 55mm depth, so the aero gains come with virtually no weight penalty on the climbs.

The hooked rim design features a modern 24mm internal width and 30mm external width, striking the ideal balance between wide tire support, aerodynamic efficiency, and compatibility with a broad range of tubeless and clincher tires.

Every set is hand built in Canada, where skilled wheelbuilders hand-lace, tension, and true each wheel to exacting standards.
